I recorded a showing of the 1964 movie Goldfinger a few days ago and started watching it. I loved the movie when I saw it fresh at age 14. I was thinking about why I liked it so much and am not so enthused now. Part of it, of course, is that my tastes as a 74-year-old are different from my tastes as a 14-year-old.
